Interest has extended from environmental product credentials to what is termed as Corporate Responsibility (CR). This is an assurance of the complete paper supply. The fundamental of CR, is that is is a voluntary action a company takes to act beyond legal compliance. This action is aimed at moving towards sustainable business development which impacts 4 pillars: - Marketplace- Workplace - Community - Environment The Antalis group is now moving towards minimising not only our products impact but also our own and our suppliers’ impact on the environment through key benchmarks such as EMAS and ISO14001. We are building upon our current product range by extending these to cover environmentally friendly and recycled papers for many applications. It does not stop there, a number of Antalis sites have attained both FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody. This maintains the certification of the product through our distribution network, right through to communicating to our customer. We recognise that reinvestment in the environment is just as critical. The Sustainability Charter provides an overview of the Antalis Group covering the main elements of Corporate Responsibility.
