Antalis continues to expand in Eastern Europe with a new venture in Russia.
Antalis, the largest European group in the distribution of paper and communications supports, announces today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Regent in order to establish a joint-venture that will develop Antalis’ presence on the Russian market.
Regent Group is the leading company in paper and office supplies merchanting on the Russian market. In 2002, Regent had an annual turnover of 90M Euros, via 14 subsidiaries established in the biggest cities in Russia. Its headquarters are located in Moscow.
Antalis’ Managing Director of Central and Eastern Europe, Jacek Nitecki, says: “Signing this MOU with Regent demonstrates Antalis’ willingness to expand into Russia’s fast growing market. For Antalis, there could not have been a better choice than linking up with Regent, #1 in this region of the world, in order to combine our strengths.”
