Green Star System™, environmental product classification

To help you make the most sustainably responsible choices when purchasing your Packaging, Antalis has developed the Green Star System™. The scoring system allows you to easily compare the environmental performance of our products at a glance.

A 5-star scoring system

This classification is based on the 4R criteria (REACH, Renewable, Recycled, Recyclable) that underpin the circular economy model, which is highly rated by our customers. The more stars a packaging has, the more sustainable it is!

Which products are excluded from the classification?

There are two main reasons why a product may be excluded:

Safety: if the product is composed of Substances of Very High Concern (UK REACH SVHC).
Lack of green features: if the product is not recyclable and contains a low level (<25%) of recycled/bio-based material.
