Safety of our employees

SAFETY FIRST, ALL THE TIME

As a leading global organisation, Antalis is committed to developing a strong internal culture that promotes health and safety as a core value.

IDENTIFYING RISK TO PREVENT IT

The risks are diverse and mainly inherent to commercial activities, or activities related to warehousing and transport. Our sites present the same risks as those of a production activity.

They may be related to handling activities, falls from a height or on the same level, contact with moving vehicles, falling objects from racks, mezzanines, lorries or trolleys, contact with moving equipment, and the use of power tools.

DEPLOYING A STRONG H&S POLICY

Health and Safety are at the heart of our values and our Code of Conduct.

The Group’s activities present risks that can potentially harm people’s health and safety. The Group attaches great importance to the health and physical and moral safety of the men and women who participate in the development of its businesses. To affirm this concern, the Group has a team in charge of the safety of people and property to audit, support and coordinate the practices and action plans implemented in each of its businesses.

The Group’s priority is to make safety a lever for continuous improvement in the processes of each activity. A progress report is drawn up with employee representatives several times a year, both locally and at the European Works Council. Information on the seriousness of workplace accidents is also monitored, and the results are used as a decision-making tool. An alert is sent to all health and safety correspondents as part of the sharing of best practice and monthly reporting is made to, and monitored by, the Antalis Group Executive Committee.
